This is a private group, but new members are welcome. The group meets in the Maryland Heights Community Center.
Important change to our meeting location. The group will meet in the first floor conference room (Room 1).
If you have other questions, please email shane.m@left-bank.com with Such Great Heights in the subject line.
Thank you for your interest in our book club, Such Great Heights Book Club (Maryland Heights Community Center, 2300 McKelvey Rd, Maryland Heights, MO 63043).
You do not need to be a resident of Maryland Heights nor a member of the community center, to join this discussion group. We meet at the Maryland Heights Community Center the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m., except for August and December. There are no membership fees and we welcome new members at any time. Our current attendance is approximately six to eight members. The actual group was established approximately 20 years ago, by a small group of Maryland Heights residents (women) who were avid readers who wanted to share and discuss books of interest. There is no limitation or restriction to the genre selected and discussed, nor a limitation to the size of the book – large or small.
Our meetings normally run approximately 90 minutes or less.
Additionally, at our December meeting, we ask that each member provide a children’s book (preschool through young adult) to donate to a local charity supporting children’s literacy.
