What a delightful book! This is for all those book worms out there, especially for those for whom books are one of the most perfect elements in an imperfect world, and for anyone else who enjoys well written contemporary fiction with oodles of warmth. - Amanda
Pure delight! Imagine another world. A world where the First Son has a love/hate relationship with the Prince of England. One evening, that love/hate relationship becomes a relationship that you cannot help but cheer for. This is a smart romance with politics dashed in just to make you want this world even more. This gives you something to root for. I loved it! - Shane
Thoroughly Southern in every way. I wanted to run around drinking a mint julep and calling everyone darlin'. This book is a perfectly balanced with drama, humor, compassion, and depth. It is a family drama with so much drama that you have to laugh at points. And laugh you will!
Almost Sisters is an homage to the South that doesn't gloss over anything. Jackson makes you feel like you are an "almost sister" as well. - Shane
It took me a minute to warm up to Eleanor’s particular quirks and personality, but once I did I fell in love with this book! All of us have felt alone at some point in our lives, Eleanor’s story serves as a reminder that we are a lot more alike than we realize and a bit of kindness can go such a long way. I did not want this book to end! - Amanda
