A native of Mississippi, Treasure Shields Redmond is a St. Louis metro-based poet, performer, and social justice educator. She has published poetry in such notable anthologies as Bum Rush the Page: A Def Poetry Jam and Breaking Ground: A Reader Celebrating Cane Canem’s First Decade, received a fellowship to the Fine Arts Works Center, and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. chop: a collection of kwansabas for fannie lou hamer was co-winner of the Winged City Chapbooks RA/AM chapbook contest.
