Maureen Johnson is the bestselling author of several novels, including 13 Little Blue Envelopes, the Truly Devious series, the Suite Scarlett series, and the Shades of London series. Gillian Pensavalle (she/her) is a professional podcast producer and host. In January of 2016 Gillian launched The Hamilcast: A Hamilton Podcast, a weekly deep dive with Hamilton cast, crew, musicians, and super fans. The Hamilcast has played host to every member of the Hamilton creative team, and features six episodes with Lin-Manuel Miranda. As creator and co-host of the popular podcast True Crime Obsessed, Gillian alongside Patrick Hinds, recaps true crime documentaries with humor and heart. Nearly 100 million downloads later, their coverage of documentaries such as Night Stalker, The Jinx, Fyre Fraud, and Class Action Park has captured the attention of true crime fans everywhere. Gillian is Executive Producer of Ted and Michael Read Sketches into Microphones, a sketch comedy podcast featuring Michael Paul Smith and Ted O’Gorman. In December of 2020 Gillian served as executive producer of 'Twas the Night, a radio play to benefit The Actors Fund. Gillian also has experience as an actor, voiceover artist, editor, show runner, producer, and on-camera host. A born and raised New Yorker, Gillian lives in Manhattan with her husband Mike and their rescue pup Fiona.
