Laurel Snyder & Randy Kaplan

Storytelling all-stars Randy Kaplan and Laurel Snyder present a day of fun destined to warm the heart. Join us at St. Louis's #1 rock club, Off Broadway (3509 Lemp Ave.), for stories and music (for all ages) and a bit of conversation (for the grown-ups).

Randy Kaplan--beloved by children and adults--blends American roots, country blues, and comedic storytelling in his songs, and his most recent children's CD, The Kids Are All Id, was voted a Top Five CD in the NICKELODEON Parents' Picks Awards.

Laurel Snyder is a children's book luminary and occasional commentator on NPR's All Things Considered, and in addition to her two picture books and three books for middle grade readers, she is also a writer of poetry and non-fiction.

Doors will open at 1PM with storytelling, followed by a concert at 2PM, and concluding with a chat about December dilemmas for the adults in the audience at 3PM. Tickets are $10 per family or $5 for individuals and may be purchased at the door.

Special thanks go out to sponsors Bella Rhodes Productions with PJ Library, KDHX Musical Merry-Go-Round's DJ Paul Stark, Tim Townsend of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Ellen Futterman of The St. Louis Jewish Light, and Hilton Homewood Suites. Books for signing are available for purchase from Left Bank Books at the event, and Randy Kaplan will also have copies of his CDs available.
