Dr. David Tolin will discuss fear and anxiety and tell you what you can do about it. His lecture will include Q&A and he will sign copies of his book, Face You Fears: A Proven Plan to Beat Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, and Obsessions afterwards. Dr. Tolin has been featured on AMC's Hoarders and is the founder and Director of the Anxiety Disorders Senter at The Institute of Living.

Ridley Pearson will be reading, answering questions, and signing books at this special pre-publication event for his newest book, Choke Point. When a journalist reveals the existence of an Amsterdam-based sweatshop that employs and enslaves young girls, private security firm Rutherford Risk is hired to find it and shut it down. But with enemies around every corner, combat veteran John Knox can't tell the good from the bad.

The YMCA presents a fun book and wine tasting to benefit YMCA Community Literacy. A sommelier has paired six featured books with wines from around the world. Ridley Pearson continues the saga of The Kingdom Keepers in Kingdom Keepers VI: Dark Passage. The Keepers and their friends discover that Maleficent and the Overtakers are plotting a catastrophic event unless they solve a puzzle that is revealed during the Disney Cruise Line's inaugural passage through the Panama Canal.

Nichole Bernier's The Unfinished Work of Elizabeth D. is about a woman who inherits the journals of a friend who died, and realizes she didn’t know her friend nearly as well as she thought, including where she was really going when she died. Set in the summer following September 11th attacks, it is the story of two women, the aspects of ourselves we show and those we conceal, and the repercussions of our choices.

St. Louis native Susan Terris presents a reading and signing of Ghost of Yesterday, a collection of new work and highlights from her 25-year career as a poet. Terris is the author of six poetry collections. Her work has appeared in many publications including: The Iowa Review, Field, Colorado Review, Prairie Schooner, and Ploughshares.
