Beverley Kane, MD, is Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stanford. She is Program Director for Stanford Equine-imity and Stanford Medicine and Horsemanship. She is also the course director and instructor for Stanford Medical Tai Chi, which includes the practice of both tai ji and qigong and the study of the peer-reviewed medical literature on the health benefits of moving meditation.
Dr. Kane has been Board Certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute. She is a Certified Horsemanship Association Level 1 riding instructor. Her private practice of equine-guided learning and psycho-spiritual development, Horsensei, conducts workshops and private sessions for individuals, couples, families and groups. Dr. Kane lives on the San Francisco Peninsula with her husband and cats Kushami and Shénah.
