New LBB book club: Writers Read! Are you a fiction writer? Do you hope to be one someday? Are you interested in discussing the craft of fiction writing? Fiction writers of all levels and interests are welcome! We'll choose one literary novel per month--maybe a short story collection, play, memoir, or book on craft thrown in here and there--and meet up to discuss how the writer puts things together, what works and what doesn't, and how reading that book informs our own writing. We'll meet the last Saturday of each month at Left Bank's downtown store (321 N 10th Street, 63101) at 4:00pm. Email questions or comments to Sara Ross at writersread@left-bank.com.
