This weekend, members of our Friends of Left Bank Books Literary Society enjoy 25% off store-wide, at both stores! If you're not already a member of the Friends program, consider this: if you were to buy $140 or more worth of books this weekend--Christmas in July, anyone?--you could essentially sign up as a Friend for free (or less than free!) since the 25% discount would cancel out the $35 cost of joining at the Reader level. Then for the rest of the year you could enjoy the luxuriant benefits of Friends membership--access to our other annual sale in December, invitations to private receptions with exciting authors, as well as our unabated admiration.
